Project updates

The president of the Malian Federation of Associations of Disabled People presented the good practices collected in Mali on the sidelines of the Conference of States Parties to the CRPD held in New York in September 2011. You can download the presentation below. The report can be found on the website for the rights of persons with disabilities in West Africa: http://www.proadiph.org/

The report is now used in different trainings (local inclusive governance, good practices collection).

The actors involved gained confidence in talking about disability and the rights of persons with disabilities, and especially by working as a network.

Two other Making It Work projects have started : - Good practices in inclusive water, sanitation and hygiene in West Africa - Good practices in inclusive employment in West Africa
