It is the MIW Team's long-term vision to develop the MIW website into an interactive international knowledge management platform for the exchange and dissemination of practices and experiences on the effective implementation of the CRPD.

Phase II of this website will contain:

A database containing MIW thematic reports from different countries searchable by topic, location and article of the CRPD. This databse will:

• Generate ideas for grassroots practitioners and service providers to solve problems and develop new, improved practices
• Showcase practices, case studies, reports, data and qualitative research as “food for advocacy” for disability rights advocates
• Provide international agencies with a tool that will contribute towards monitoring implementation of the CRPD

This forum will provide a space for South-to-South communication.  Individuals and organiations carrying out MIW projects can share approaches, processes and information regarding the projects.

Activists and others interested in replicating the practices described can also participate in the discussion.
